Thallo Health's Third-Party Reproduction Training Program: Ensuring Excellence in Care

Welcome to Thallo Health! As a leading provider in the field of third-party reproduction, we pride ourselves on the comprehensive nature of our in-house training program. Whether you are a referent or an onboarding provider, understanding our training process is essential to appreciate the depth of care we offer. We believe that our clinician qualifications should be more than just professional affiliations.

Commitment to Excellence

Every clinician at Thallo Health is a licensed mental health practitioner and a member of both the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the ASRM Mental Health Professional Group (MHPG), as well as the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy (SEEDS). Our team is meticulously trained to ensure clients receive care from educated, qualified professionals, no matter where they reside.

Rigorous Training Program

Our training program is designed to equip new clinicians with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in third-party reproduction. The program consists of several stages:

Stage 1: Educational Training

The initial educational training materials are provided in a self-study format, using a variety of recorded tutorial videos, current literature, and detailed written workflows. This stage covers key areas such as:

  • Egg Donor Sessions
  • ASRM Criteria for Egg Donors
  • Surrogate Sessions
  • ASRM Criteria for Surrogates
  • Sperm Donor Sessions
  • International Donor Guidelines
  • Intended Parent Consultations
  • Joint Sessions
  • Counseling/Support Sessions
  • "Red Flags" & Denials
  • PAI Information
  • Thallo Health Procedural and Administrative Training

Providers typically complete this stage within 4-5 weeks.

Stage 2: Live Shadowing

In this stage, all providers shadow experienced therapists during live sessions. This allows them to observe the application of training content in real scenarios and ask questions based on the experienced therapist’s practice. This segment typically takes 2-3 weeks.

Stage 3: Demonstrating Skills

All providers demonstrate their acquired skills through simulated appointments, mock candidate evaluations, and team reviews. This stage takes about one week to complete.

Stage 4: Supervised Practice

All providers begin facilitating services under supervision for the first three months to ensure continued support, guidance, and education.

Ongoing Supervision and Consultation

Our commitment to quality care doesn't end with the initial training. We maintain strict supervision and consultation systems:

Any case presenting concerns is flagged for additional clinical review and consultation with the CEO, Andrea Bryman, or the clinical director, Nicole Adams.

For screenings requiring a PAI, results are reviewed and scored by Andrea or Nicole, who collaborate directly with the provider.

For past evaluations needing updates, our team works quickly to contact the candidate and address any new considerations.

Comprehensive Services

Our practice offers a variety of services including:

  • Surrogate evaluations
  • Egg donor evaluations
  • Sperm donor evaluations
  • Embryo donor evaluations
  • Intended parent consultations
  • Multicultural consideration consultations
  • Joint session consultations
  • Counseling sessions for surrogates, intended parents, and matches
  • Ongoing support sessions for surrogates

At Thallo Health, we are dedicated to ensuring that every client receives the highest quality of care from well-trained, knowledgeable, and compassionate professionals. Our rigorous training program and ongoing support systems are designed to maintain the highest standards in third-party reproduction, providing clients with the confidence and reassurance they need throughout their journey.
