What to expect from your session.

Thallo Health is dedicated to supporting your journey. Our comprehensive mental health assessment program ensures you are emotionally prepared and resilient, making your experience as smooth and comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect from the program.

how it works

The steps for your evaluation process.

1

Register through the
Patient Portal.

Have you received an e-mail from us yet? You may have been registered by your provider. If not, click here to register yourself as a new patient. You’ll receive an email to confirm you’ve signed up.

2

Complete your profile within the Patient Portal.

Your Portal is where all of the steps of the evaluation take place - from beginning to end. Your provider may have completed this for you. If they have, you’ll see your information filled in. If not, be sure to complete your profile before your appointment.

3

Schedule your appointment.

We have appointments available in all time zones, 7 days a week. Choose an appointment at a time that works for you in your Patient Portal.

4

Take the Personality Assessment Inventory
(PAI®).

In addition to your evaluation, some providers require a personality assessment. If you do, you will receive a link via email with instructions on how to complete the assessment and the assessment link will also be available in your Patient Portal.

5

Your evaluation meeting.

Log in to your Patient Portal at your scheduled appointment time to meet with one of our therapists via video conference.

6

Final clearance.

Once all steps have been completed, a full report will be sent to your provider.

clinical assessments

Types of assessments
included in your evaluation.

Whether you are seeking personal or family building guidance, your evaluation will include the following components that are specific to your journey.

Psychosocial Assessment

A psychosocial assessment is an evaluation of an individual's mental health and social well-being. You will meet via HIPAA-compliant video conference with one of Thallo Health's licensed therapists who will assess your suitability for the process.

Personality Assessment (PAI)®

The Personality Assessment Inventory is a comprehensive measure of personality. This objective inventory of adult personality assesses psychopathological syndromes and provides information relevant for clinical diagnosis, treatment planning and screening for psychopathology.

support programs

Continuous support
tailored to your needs.

Our relationship doesn't end with the conclusion of the assessments. At Thallo Health, we provide continuous support throughout your journey.

Individual/Group Counseling Support.

Monthly sessions provided to carriers and/or intended parents from beginning of cycle to postpartum to ensure a positive and rewarding experience for both the carrier and intended parents.

Intended Parent Consultations.

Clinical interview with intended parent to review the many aspects of assisted reproduction which may include issues of boundaries, disclosure, loss and grief.

Post-Surgery Wellness Sessions

Your wellness follow-up after bariatric surgery is an essential part of the recovery process, focusing on your emotional and psychological well-being. This check-in typically involves discussions about your adaptation to dietary changes, body image concerns, and emotional challenges that may arise during weight loss. It offers a safe space to address feelings of anxiety, depression, or stress, and reinforces the importance of a supportive network. Additionally, mental health professionals may provide coping strategies and resources to help you navigate your new lifestyle, ensuring a holistic approach to your overall health and mindset.
