Angela Coulter-Diaz

Clinical Therapist

Angela received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Southern California, and is currently a licensed clinical social worker in the State of California. Initially drawn to social work with a desire to support people coping with grief and loss, she spent over 15 years working in medical social work for various respected organizations within Los Angeles, including Providence Health, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and UCLA Health.

Through the course of her work, she eventually saw the valuable role mental health clinicians play in all aspects of fertility and family planning and decided to become more involved. Angela’s extensive experience working in a medical setting with pediatrics and families has given her a well-informed perspective on the delicate and complex nature of families facing the unique challenges that come with the field of fertility. She felt called to continue to support families pursuing third-party assisted reproduction to promote a more inclusive and accessible service attuned to the mental health aspects of the fertility field. Angela proudly provides services in both Spanish and English.

Angela has continued her professional growth in the field of infertility through research and involvement as a professional member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, ASRM Mental Health Professional Group, and the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy.

Angela is also trained in bariatric assessments and offers comprehensive evaluations that address the psychological, emotional, and social factors affecting a patient’s weight loss journey. Her compassionate approach fosters a supportive environment to help clients navigate the challenges of bariatric surgery.
