Dr. Erika Borrayo
Dr. Erika Borrayo is a licensed, bilingual (English/Spanish) Clinical Psychologist in Virginia and is PSYPACT-credentialed, with authority to provide psychological services in an additional 42 states. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The New School for Social Research in New York and has more than 20 years of clinical experience across private practice, community mental health, hospital, primary care, and behavioral health settings.
Dr. Borrayo has provided individual, couples, family, and group therapy, as well as diagnostic and psychological assessments, to children, adolescents, and adults across diverse clinical populations. Her experience also includes crisis intervention, risk assessment, behavioral interventions, clinical supervision, and behavioral health leadership in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Dr. Borrayo looks forward to supporting individuals and families navigating fertility and the process of growing their families. She brings extensive experience providing psychological assessment and treatment to diverse populations, along with specialized expertise in psychological testing and a strong interest in fertility and bariatric psychology. Her warm, collaborative approach and bilingual fluency in English and Spanish allow her to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and her enthusiasm for continued training and development reflects her commitment to providing thoughtful, comprehensive care throughout the fertility journey.
She has continued her professional growth in the field of infertility through research and involvement as a professional member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, ASRM Mental Health Professional Group, and the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy.
