Rebekah Walker
Rebekah is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor. She grew up in Central America and is fluent in Spanish. Rebekah has a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and has been working with families in various roles over the last 20 years.
She has spent many years working with adoptive families, blended families, foster families, and families of all shapes and sizes. Over the years, Rebekah has helped families grow in various ways through adoption, foster care, taking a relative in, and other non-traditional ways. She believes that family is what you create it to be and not all families have to look the same. Rebekah has a deep-rooted passion for helping those who want to grow their family in any way possible. She has been conducting adoption studies for several years and enjoys helping others build their family.
Rebekah enjoys coming alongside these families and helping them through their reproductive journey, as well as assisting those who are helping others have a family. Due to her career-long training and experience working within the field of mental health and family-building, Rebekah is highly qualified to provide assessments, consultations, and counseling services for a variety of populations navigating the field of fertility. She is proud to offer sessions in both Spanish and English.
She has continued her professional growth in the field of infertility through research and involvement as a professional member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, ASRM Mental Health Professional Group, and the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy.
Rebekah is also trained in bariatric assessments and offers comprehensive evaluations that address the psychological, emotional, and social factors affecting a patient’s weight loss journey. Her compassionate approach fosters a supportive environment to help clients navigate the challenges of bariatric surgery.
