Rosa Adams
Rosa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker fluent in English and Spanish, based in California. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Welfare from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska in Omaha. With over 35 years of experience in California, she has dedicated her career to empowering individuals, families, and communities. She believes in people's inherent ability to lead healthier lives and sees it as the driving force behind every relationship.
Her approach is rooted in compassion, empathy, and non-judgment, providing a safe and supportive environment for her clients. She aims to help them develop the skills and tools they need to find happiness and live a more balanced and fulfilled life. Her commitment to understanding the complexities of the human experience has been cultivated through her journey as a seasoned social worker, where she has witnessed the resilience of people facing diverse challenges, fueling her dedication to making a difference.
Rosa was called to work for Thallo Health, as she saw it as an opportunity to continue her work in helping others while considering the myriad of psychological components that may be involved along the way. Rosa draws upon her extensive experience providing intake assessments, psychological evaluations, and diagnostic services in an inpatient medical setting, which makes her a valuable asset to the team.
She has continued her professional growth in the field of infertility through research and involvement as a professional member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, ASRM Mental Health Professional Group, and the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy.
Rosa is also trained in bariatric assessments and offers comprehensive evaluations that address the psychological, emotional, and social factors affecting a patient’s weight loss journey. Her compassionate approach fosters a supportive environment to help clients navigate the challenges of bariatric surgery.
